Has a Self-Sealing Band
The Cast and Dressing Protector's neoprene band allows the protector to be completely submerged in water so you no longer have to adopt uncomfortable positions to protect the cast while bathing. This feature has a wide area of contact so it doesn't pinch the skin or feel restrictive.
Waterproof Design
Made to be both comfortable and waterproof, the Arm Protector can be worn while you relax in the bath or visit your local swimming pool. The main body of the slip is made from a pliable, waterproof PVC/nylon mesh. Its body is roomy to fit bulky dressings and is also slip resistant so you remain protected throughout use.
The protector has been treated to protect against bacterial and fungal contamination so your injury can heal as quickly as possible. This slip is reusable and will last an average of eight weeks with normal use.
Sizing of the Arm Protector
The end of the Arm Protector sits slightly above your elbow to provide you with full coverage for a range of different casts and dressings. To find out whether the protector will fit you, measure the circumference of your arm above the elbow. This particular protector fits a circumference from 250 - 290mm.
Please note this Cast and Dressing Arm Protector is not suitable for use on open or undressed wounds.
